Through reduction and compositional discipline, Oliveri reinterprets familiar forms, allowing them to oscillate between representation and abstraction within a carefully balanced visual field.

The work operates through the transformation of a familiar object into a controlled visual construct. The cup retains its recognizability, yet its scale challenges the viewer’s habitual perception, shifting it from an intimate object to a dominant presence.
